I know that most consider the equinoxes and solstices to be the beginning of the season, but here in South Carolina, they align more with the midpoint of the season.
We've had daffodils for weeks, my peach trees started blooming last week, and the first violet has popped!
Friday we celebrate Ostara, the spring equinox, and there will definitely be lots of flowers for the altar!
